A festival like no other…

Matt and Frankie’s big day was part wedding, part festival!

Drinks were flowing, laughter was shared and the food, oh the food! From charcuterie boards to paella, hog roasts to an (am-aaaaa-zing) pizza truck it is safe to say that every attendee left with a full stomach (and pockets stuffed with Lindt chocolate)! 

We were even treated to an amazing headline set, by the talented Entrée party band – who were kind enough to mix and master the first dance song, so we could use it in our soundtrack!

Our approach:

From our initial conversation onwards, Matt and Frankie made us feel super involved in their day. Great communication leads to great collaboration!

This set the tone for the day, which was a relaxed and fun festival style wedding. From the moment we rocked up at Frankie’s house, we felt like one of their friends.

We tried to ensure our filming and editing approach matched the tone of the day – we’re talking warm colours, a Khruangbin-esque soundtrack and lots of detail shots to showcase all the nice touches they had added to their venue.

And come golden hour, our sunset stroll with Matt & Frankie in the surrounding farmland made for some beautiful - and intimate - shots, which we peppered throughout the finale of the film.
