Christian & Annabel
London, UK
From Fleet Street, to Pall Mall, via Big Ben…
…Christian and Annabel’s special day was part history tour, part architecture lesson, and, most importantly, part wedding!
We started off at the wonderful St. Bride’s, which may well be one of the most beautiful churches we have seen, let alone shot in.
Then out came the Champagne, as we hopped on to a couple of old-school Routemasters for a whistle stop tour of Central London’s major sights.
Side note: Annabel’s step-dad meticulously prepared the route to ensure we didn’t miss a thing.
Our destination, should we ever choose to dis-embark?
The Royal Automobile Club.
Considering the high bar set by the stunning church, the RAC had a lot to live up to…
And boy did it deliver! We’re not sure what the members must have thought about such a raucous bash, mind.
Location:
St Brides Church, London & The Royal Automobile Club, London
Time of year:
Beginning of March

Wedding theme:
In a word, classic. We’re talking simple yet stunning bridal wear, historic venues, an understated colour scheme and a few quirky touches. (Hello, profiterole tower!)
Our approach:
We used the March light to our advantage, allowing shadows to fall into black and letting all the sumptuous details shine.
We also snuck upstairs to a tiny balcony in St Bride’s to ensure we got an angle that did this incredible church justice.
And we also made sure to capture every detail of the Routemasters’ journey through central London as they transported guests between venues.
A full drinks reception at the stunning RAC followed by a banger of a party lead by Roameo band getting fully involved on the dance floor.
